Bobby Rhyne

Bobby Rhyne (’93 B.S. ChE) entered the cooperative education program while at WVU Tech, working for Ashland Oil, Inc (acquired by Marathon Oil); he worked in the refining industry for four co-op terms, helping pay his way through college. He began his professional career at Ravenswood Aluminum Corporation (acquired by Century Aluminum), where he also began working on his graduate education. He later joined BF Goodrich Aerospace (acquired by United Technologies) and began the transition from a purely technical role into management positions that also had responsibility for technical activities. While at BF Goodrich, Bobby completed his MS degree in Engineering from Marshall University Graduate College (Chemical Engineering with Environmental focus). Bobby later began working for Toyota Motor Manufacturing, WV and has been there for 20 years, currently as Senior Engineering Manager. Bobby lives in Hurricane, WV and enjoys outdoor activities, scuba diving, travel and many hobbies.
