Message from the Chair

Thank you for visiting the Department of Mathematics at WVU Tech. As the Department Chair, I extend a very cordial welcome to you, and I encourage you to find out more about our comprehensive mathematics program.

With ten highly credentialed faculty members, our department is an integral part of the Leonard C. Nelson College of Engineering and Sciences at WVU Tech. Our faculty is committed to quality teaching and advising and we provide our students with a solid education for transitioning into the workforce or continuing their education.

With WVU Tech’s focus on STEM education, our students have the opportunity to supplement the math curriculum with engineering and science courses which produces well-rounded graduates and can lead to a minor or dual major.
