Information systems graduates manage the computer presence in all employment sectors. They are employed in health-care, education, commerce, engineering enterprises, social services and government agencies as computer systems analysts, database administrators, network systems & data communications analysts and network & computer systems administrators.

WVU Tech Information System graduates can choose to pursue post-graduate education in computer information systems, management of information systems, or business management.

According to Bureau of Labor statistics, five of the ten highest paid occupations that have the fastest growth in job openings are in the fields of computing sciences. In recent years, the national average starting salary of information systems graduates has been consistently above $56,000.
