About the Program
The Bachelor of Science degree program in mathematics prepares students for employment in business, industry and government while providing the foundation for continued studies in mathematics. Students train for a variety of careers and are encouraged to supplement their studies in mathematics with courses from engineering, science or business.
The mathematics curriculum helps students acquire sufficient experience and understanding in a broad range of mathematical disciplines by requiring courses from each of the four major branches of mathematics: analysis, algebra, topology and geometry, and applied mathematics. WVU Tech also offers a business-track bachelor’s in mathematics.
